IN THE DARK EPISODE 3 [NANCY] An incoming call interupted khole from going on,i almost cursed the caller but couldn’t when i saw that it was my mom. She asked the usual question about our safety,she also spoke with khole to confirm we are alright. I hurriedly ended the call and bestowed on khole to continue, she then coverd her face with her hand saying shes blushing since its getting personal and since am still under age,i should not be hearing about love yet. I hit her playfully and grabbed her hair she then surrender her hands in the air and said she will continue. I released her hair and put my full attention on her. Khole then stood up and changed her sitting position from the bed we both occupied to the big couch in the room,i readjusted my self,ready for the full story. At age 5, her two legs were amputated in order to save her life. My friend @ayaworanho3d did a documentary on Adenike's story. It was nominated for the best documentary at the AMVCA 2018. Despite her state & paucity of funds, she chose to go to school, believing her condition will not stop her from having an education. Today she's a student of the Polytechnic of Ibadan. Adenike is a cheerful girl, always smiling & full of life despite everything. The current prosthetics which she uses no longer functions. She has outgrown the prosthetics, making it difficult for her to move around without human support. I was not a stranger at our hotel neither do i frequent the place. The name was ‘A.J paradise’ it was very big with different kind of sections. It was a little difficult to get a place to park on time but we finally did. After securing a parking space, khole said she wanted to make a phone call before joining me in the hotel. I gussed she wanted to call her lover since she was been too secretive about the call. I teased her and told her to let me know my brother inlaw on time before it would be too late. IN THE DARK Episode 1 ****************** The tap on my door woke me up,as soon as i opened my eyes,I noticed that the sun was shinning brightly already,time checked 9:00am . I heard My mom’s voice from my door step saying ‘Nancy wakeup,open up baby,its your day!’. What the heck is she talking about? My day Am I getting married or something??.
